<h2>What is AI art?</h2>
<p>AI art is art that has been created using artificial intelligence. This can include a wide range of techniques and approaches, from using AI algorithms to generate images or sounds, to using AI to assist with the creative process. Some artists may use AI to create entirely new forms of art, while others may use it to enhance or augment their existing work. In general, the goal of AI art is to explore the intersection of art and technology, and to push the boundaries of what is possible in the world of art.</p>
<p>Every image and some text in this Mag was generated by AI. </p>

<p>I know it’s heavy seeing A LOT of me…but let’s focus on how INSANE this technology is. I simply imported 10 photos. All photos have to be in selfie or portrait format, which can be easily found in your albums when opening up your camera roll. </p>
<p>Upload photos, then in minutes you have 100’s of variations of brand new art made by who? AI mixed with the food you feed it. </p>

<h2>Here is an example of ChatGPT</h2>
<p>Dall-E doesn’t only allow you to make images based off of description, but now allows you to type what you want and AI will draft up the “almost” perfect copy in 1 second. </p>
<p>As you see above, I wrote 1 line and below is what was generated in one second. This is mind blowing. </p>
<p> AI text is important because it allows machines to understand and generate human-like text, which makes them well-suited for tasks such as chatbots and virtual assistants. This can be useful in a wide range of applications, including customer service, language translation, and content generation. By using AI to process and generate text, businesses and organizations can improve the efficiency and accuracy of their operations, and provide better service to their customers. Additionally, the use of AI in text-related tasks can help to improve the user experience by making it more convenient and enjoyable to interact with machines. Where was this when I was in school!!</p>

<p>“DALL-E and DALL-E 2 are deep learning models developed by OpenAI to generate digital images from natural language descriptions, called "prompts". DALL-E was revealed by OpenAI in a blog post in January 2021, and uses a version of GPT-3 modified to generate images”.</p>
<p>Under both images, the caption was the exact description typed in to generate the images. In seconds, Artificial Intelligence painted these! </p>

<h1>Glamis Sand Dunes - Part 2</h1>
<p>I guess we’ve decided that Glamis will be an annual ritual for Thanksgiving weekend. We all have Thanksgiving with our families and Friday morning it’s off to the dunes!</p>
<p>2 Campers, 2 trucks and 4 Can-am Mavericks. We love the big boy toys! </p>
<p>When arriving to Glamis, first objective is to pick our spot. Out of thousands of people setting up shop, it’s not so easy to find your home for the weekend but we always seem to set camp in the best location. Once camp is set, it’s ride till you die, BBQ until there’s no more fire and meat and relax on a good ol’ American bud light. </p>

<p>One of our few damages this weekend. </p>
<p>Can-ams can definitely take a beating in the dunes but this should not have happened…on the whoops, the front hit the base and completely broke the arm of the car that holds the wheel…stuck in the dunes is not ideal…</p>
<p>Towing out of the sand is a nightmare but we made the best of it. All the “hiccups” just adds more fun to trip :) </p>

<h2>Nothing like a 6:45am Birthday cake wake-up. </h2>
<h2>Don’t get used to it Asher!</h2>
<h2>I’ve always said when my first child turns 2, we are going to Disneyland! We had the best time and Asher was so great!</h2>
<p>We already can’t wait to go again!</p>

<h1>Let the adventures begin!</h1>
<p>We arrived at Disneyland at 10am. Asher took a nice nap the whole way there so he can be juiced for the day! We brought my Nana, Asher’s great grandma with us! Was a very special day. </p>
<p>We went on Jungle cruise, winnie the pooh, Buzz Lightyear, Tea Cups, Cars and more. Lots of walking and lots of eating. </p>
<p>Highly recommend taking your kid when he or she reaches 2. So much to do and so much to see. Disneyland is so stimulating for them, was so awesome to see his excitement!</p>

<p>I was nervous about lines before getting there. Not sure how to keep a 2 year old standing in one place for 20 + minutes. Asher surprised us with his patience 🙏😂. He was so great every step of the way. </p>
<p>Tip - bring some yummy snacks for the lines ;) </p>

<p>Since we booked last minute, we had no other choice than to fly with LOT airlines. We normally take El Al but due to last minute bookings we had no other option. The flight was great, however the time of arrival was a pain in the ass having a 1.5 year old with us. BUT, Asher was a trooper! We landed at 4am….brutal. </p>
<p>First stop, borekahs! </p>
<p>Second stop, visiting Clara’s sister and family. </p>
<p>Third stop, visiting my buddy Nathan who was visiting from LA as well. </p>

<p>To kick off the new year, I got to spend quality time with my wife and baby Asher. Since we were still in the middle of the pandemic and had a 2 month old son, we decided to hang low and have a nice dinner just us. It was perfect 🥂</p>

<p>It was my first cooked meal of 2021 and my last. Sorry babe, you know I can but you are just way better at it! Plus, I hate the mess I make when I cook…soddyy. </p>

It was such an awesome trip despite the Covid regulations and curfew that was enforced. It only put a dent on the night activities but during the day we were free!</p>

<p><strong>We headed out to Glamis near the Mexicali border for a weekend with the boys and toys. Glamis is a massive off-road park with endless sanddunes and no rules </strong>☠️</p>
<p><strong>200,000 people head out to Glamais for Thanksgiving weekend. We went 8 guys, 2 campers, 2 trucks and 2 side-by-sides and ripped through the sand all weekend. Great way to burn off those Thanksgiving calories. </strong></p>

<p><strong>The Drags is an open runway where all the big boys go to race their machines while everyone gets on both sides of the strip to watch. </strong></p>

<h1><strong>Oldsmobile Hill</strong></h1>
<p><strong>Oldsmobile is where everyone meets up to race up the big dune. Saturday night, we drove all the toys up to the top and set up shop. We brought firewood, drinks, snacks and music. Everyone has their toys lit up with neon lights and rally’s at the dune with a full firework show throughout the night. </strong></p>

<h2>As a wine consumer, getting down and dirty, learning how to make wine from scratch was such special experience. Now my ￼appreciation for wine has grown even more…didn’t know it was possible. </h2>
<h2>My friend Emry and his family decided to make their own wine. Bought the￼￼ appropriate equipment, found a grape broker and boom, the process begins!</h2>
<h2>Since he knows my passion for wine, he told me to come help with the creation. </h2>

<h2>That machine above is used to crush the grapes and de-stem them. Pretty incredible how quickly this machine works. Take a look at Emry’s arm on the left, like I said we got down and dirty. </h2>

<h2>And now the most fun….cleaning. 🙄</h2>

<h1>Maceration </h1>
<h2>This is the period between crushing and pressing, when the juice is still in contact with the skins, it’s called maceration. </h2>
<h2>The skin may be removed before, during, or after fermentation.</h2>
<h2>Depending on how long the maceration period is,￼ the color of the wines will change. ￼For example, Dark red wines have a longer maceration period. </h2>

<h2>￼￼After the grapes ￼were crushed and destemmed, you add Sulfur Dioxide (commonly used) for 2 reasons. It prevents the wine from reacting with oxygen that can cause browning and off odors. It also inhibits the growth of bacteria and undesirable wild yeast in the wine. ￼ </h2>
<h2>Can’t wait to try these in about 6 months!</h2>

<p>The Golan Heights is one of the most beautiful parts of Israel and a very important region to the country. </p>
<p><a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golan_Heights">After</a> the Six-Day War broke out in June 1967, Syria's shelling greatly intensified and the IDF captured the Golan Heights on 9-10 of June. The area that came under Israeli control as a result of the war. </p>
<p>On June 19th, 1967, the Israeli cabinet voted to return the Golan to Syria in exchange for a peace agreement, although this was rejected after the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khartoum_Resolution">Khartoum Resolution</a> of September 1 1967.</p>
<p>Israel captured the Golan Heights for several reasons, but two in particular stand out: <strong>to expand its borders, and to create a buffer zone against Syria</strong>.</p>
<p>Why is the Golan also so important? The Golan is <strong>thought to provide around one-third of Israel's fresh water supply</strong>. Water from the Golan travels to the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan River.</p>

<p>Merom Golan is an Israeli settlement and kibbutz in the Western Golan Heights. The kibbutz was established as a settlement after Israel occupied the area in the Six Day War in 1967.</p>
<p>Merom Golan invites anyone to come see the beautiful Golan Heights. They offer Razor/ATV tours, horseback riding, hotels and one of the best meat restaurants you will ever attend, Habokrim! </p>

<p>The next 2 pages will show more of our ride and one of our stops. The Golan is known for its agriculture and grows some of the best crops, luckily we got to pick some right off the bush and eat them! We tried Black Berries, Asian Pears and Apples. </p>

<p>So glad we got to be apart of Benaya’s Upsherin In Mount Meron which has a special significance in Jewish religious tradition and parts of it have been declared a nature reserve.</p>
<p>The village of <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meron_(village)">Meron</a> and the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomb_of_Rabbi_Shimon_bar_Yochai">tomb of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai</a> are on Mount Meron. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai was one of the most eminent disciples of <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbi_Akiva">Rabbi Akiva</a>, and attributed by many <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orthodox_Judaism">Orthodox Jews</a> with the authorship of the <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zohar">Zohar</a>, the chief work of <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kabbalah">Kabbalah</a>.</p>
<p><a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Upsherin">Upsherin</a> , is a haircutting ceremony￼ observed by a wide cross-section of Jews and is particularly popular in Haredi Jewish<a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judaism"> </a>communities. It is typically held when a boy turns three years old. Among those who practice the upsherin, the male infant does not have his hair cut until this ceremony.</p>
<p>In the Bible, human life is sometimes compared to the growth of trees.[10] According to <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leviticus">Leviticus</a> 19:23, one is not permitted to eat the fruit that grows on a tree for the first three years. Some Jews apply this principle to cutting a child's hair. Thus little boys are not given their first haircut until the age of three. To continue the analogy, it is hoped that the child, like a tree that grows tall and eventually produces fruit, will grow in knowledge and good deeds, and someday have a family of his own. Hasidic Rabbis have made this comparison, and in some communities a boy before his first haircut is referred to as orlah, as we refer to a tree in its early years.</p>

<p>What a special weekend we all had. I’ve been so blessed to have so many amazing friends, most which I’ve known since elementary school and here we are today still together. Fun fact, Nate and Dani met at my wedding in 2017 and that’s when their love story began! </p>
<p>So amazing seeing you both grow into the beautiful husband and wife that you are! </p>

<p>This weeding was heavily anticipated due to Covid effecting the original date. Originally is was supposed to be back in December, but Covid won that battle and had to be pushed…. it was for the better. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect and it was well worth the wait!</p>

<h2>Friday evening we had a incredible Shabbat dinner, everyone dressed in white, long tables lit with candles on the beach with amazing food and drinks. What a dinner party we had!</h2>

<h1>Day 1. </h1>
<p>There is no airport in Tulum. The closest international <strong>airport</strong> is Cancun (CUN). This is where everyone flies into and then transfers to <strong>Tulum</strong>🤙🏼<strong> </strong>It’s about<strong> </strong>an hour and half drive to Tulum from Cancun. </p>
<p>I’m going to place links to the restaurants and activities we did. When you see an Orange link over an image or a hyper link in the text, make sure to click it for the full information.</p>

<p>I highly recommend going to <a href="https://torarestaurant.com.mx/en">Tora Tulum</a> , a great Japanese restaurant that turns into a party. Tora shares the space with <a href="https://rosanegra.com.mx/en">RosaNegra</a>, one of the top places in Tulum for dinner. </p>
<p>“RosaNegra® is a space that exudes freedom, a tribute to Latin American cuisine. Our eclectic menu includes gastronomic traditions from countries like Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil and Mexico, showcasing authentic and daring flavors.” </p>
<p>It doesn’t matter which place you choose￼￼ since they share the same venue. Your decision should be based on the food you want to eat, either Japanese or Latin American. Both a great option￼￼s with an awesome vibe!</p>

<h1>Day 2. </h1>
<p>We chartered a Yacht for half a day, so worth it. They drove us to two spots, anchored the boat so we could snorkel at the reef, paddle board, jet ski and swim to a private beach. Highly recommend using <a href="https://theyachtexperiences.com">The Yacht Experiences</a> for your boat activities when in Tulum!</p>

If I were to come back with my wife or a smaller group, I think Azulik would be the right choice. We came here for the day and was blown away by the service, design, architecture and food. The private beach was also a major vibe. If you don’t end up staying there, I recommend going at some point on your trip. </p>

<p>We kicked off the New Year at our friends NYE party. Little did we know what 2020 had in store for us. </p>

<h1>The start of 2020....</h1>
<p>On January 26th, we went to the Mar Vista Farmers Market. While we were buying some produce and tasting great food from all different vendors, my friend Ariel’s mother called her to inform her about Kobe’s fatal accident. In that moment I almost fell to the floor in disbelief! It was as if gd forbid one of my own family member had passed. Kobe was not just an LA icon, he was Global. </p>
<p>You will be missed Kobe💜💛 </p>
<p>I will never forget that day... </p>

<p>February was a month of travel for me! A luxury we all were soon going to lose 😭. At the beginning of the month I hopped on a quick flight to San Francisco to visite one of my beat friends. Nothing like spontaneous trips!</p>

<p>Towards the end of February I traveled to Mexico for another one of my best friends bachelor parties. We stayed in an incredible house and had an even more incredible time. Sadly that was the last time we got to act as normal people before the Covid storm destroyed the world 🙄</p>

<p>I was one of the first 50 confirmed Covid-19 cases in California. At that time, people thought I was going to die...Covid had just hit the US, and I had to play patient zero. I honestly can’t believe it’s almost been a year since I got Covid! And here we all are in the same situation. </p>

<p>Yup, this is how we go out now.... It’s like being in a horror film! That was my first outing after contracting Covid. </p>

<p>Since everything was closed, Clara and I would pick up lunch and drive up Mulholland Dr. to a look-out and overlook the entire city. At the time that moment was so exciting seeing that it was the only way of “getting out”!</p>

<p>Since we were quarantined and there was not much to do, I decided to drive up to SF again but this time with my wife. We enjoyed a nice weekend away there, it really felt so great getting out of LA after being trapped indoors for about two months.  </p>

<p>As we were leaving SF we decided not to take the 5 freeway but instead take Highway 1 and pass through Big Sur. Although it was an extremely beautiful place, I’m sad that the first time I got to see it was during a pandemic. Look-outs, hikes, restaurants all were closed.  </p>

<p>June was off to a good start! I donated my first round of plasma for patients that were struggling with Covid. It felt amazing being able to give back during these times. I truly recommend that anyone with the antibodies go donate their plasma, it could make all the difference for someone who isn’t able to fight off Covid as easily. </p>
<p>Then this happened👇🏻</p>

<p>In the midst of the pandemic, “Derek Chauvin, one of four police officers who arrived on the scene, knelt on Floyd's neck for a period initially reported to be 8 minutes and 46 seconds.”</p>
<p>This started an uproar on social justice. Very powerful movement but the destruction caused was ￼unnecessary. Seeing the army in Los Angeles was wild.</p>
<p>Kobe’s death, Corona Virus and then this....it just didn’t end! 🤯</p>

<p>July was a great month filled with so many memories!  My wife and I had our gender reveal, it’s a boy! My birthday followed a couple days after. And we got to celebrate the Bris of our best friends son! </p>

<p>This past Labor Day was 100°! Usually you can count on the weather at the beach to be 10 to 15° lower than the cities temperature. But not that day! Malibu was 103°! Buts let’s not forget we’re still in a pandemic, so we went to a private beach to set up camp￼￼￼, It was much needed!</p>

<p>November was definitely the best month of 2020. Our baby Asher David was born in and we couldn’t have asked for a greater blessing in such crazy times! </p>
<p>I knew 2020 had to have some good light in store of us :) </p>

<p>As we come to the end of 2020, we can easily look back and say it was a terrible year. But truly ￼the only thing that could have made this year terrible is if you didn’t figure out ways to better yourself. </p>
<p>I think everyone needs to ask themselves a simple question “did I make a difference this year? Did I allow myself to change for the better?” I know that this year was tough but I really believe it has given me the chance to self reflect and change for the better. You learn to appreciate ALL the small things in life. </p>
<p> I hope that this is the case for everyone! </p>
<p>Time to take all we got from 2020 and power it through 2021. </p>

Castaic Lake

<p>Huge thank you to my good buddy Joe (aka Yochai) who took us out on the lake for a full day of Wakesurfing and Wakeboarding. Being cooped up in the home office for so long, hitting the lake at 1pm was a much needed recess. <a href="https://www.castaiclake.com">Castaic</a> is only 40 min from the city (LA) quite easy￼ to go to and from. </p>
<p>I kid you not, we were literally 1 of 3 boats on the entire lake! It was like our own giant pool. When you have the lake to yourself you definitely feel more confident on the boards🤙🏼￼</p>

Imagine if everything green was purple?</p>
<p>So fun story, I used it a few times and received ￼ dozens of DM’s asking where this was.... so my reply was “Filter Dr.” most responses said “THANK YOU” I had to reply “read again” then got the Oooohhh 😂. It was pretty funny. </p>

<p>After a nice weekend in SF at our friends Nate and Danielle’s house, Clara and I had to take Highway 1 down the coast of Cali. Big Sur was one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen. Definitely did not feel like we were home in California.</p>

<p>Every couple miles we kept pulling over, we were like little kids at a theme park! </p>

<p>Now I understand this saying. It was like this the entire drive down the coast. There were thousands and thousands of cows roaming the gorgeous coast overlooking the ocean.</p>

<p>Every 30 miles or so you will find 2 gas pumps during your drive through Big Sur. I needed to fill up so I pulled over at this nice little station, get out to fill up my car and it was $6.75 a GALLON!! Had no choice, most expensive gas station in the country!</p>

<p>Being home for a month straight calls for an hour out. Still playing it safe and being selective with where we go, what we eat and who we hang with. I know J &amp; T have been in self isolation for as long as we have so it was time to have our first lunch out. </p>
<p>Little Mendocino Farms pick up and beach pull up. Drove down PCH found a nice little spot to have lunch. </p>
<p>During this time it is very important to keep implementing good hygiene and social distancing. If you are following these rules and your friends and family are to, it is ok to hang for a lunch out🤷🏻‍♂️</p>

<h2><em>It’s not what you think.</em></h2>
<p>As someone that hardly ever gets sick, I never thought I would be sharing a first hand story of how I overcame the Coronavirus.</p>
<p>As personal as this story is, I’m grateful to be able to share this with you in the hope that it will not only be informative but ease some of the anxiety/fear surrounding the situation.</p>
<p>The information circling online is only part of what actually happens when it comes to the actual experience. Although being informed, implementing good hygiene and social isolation can help, I truly believe the factor that mattered most was that I took action right away by quarantining myself and calling my healthcare provider.</p>
<p>My doctor informed me that <strong>many people have it </strong>and don’t even realize they do and just go about their day spreading it. Please, be a good Samaritan, stay home, and take extra caution. Open up the line of communication with your doctor, wash your hands often, be extra clean, and drink A LOT of water.</p>
<p></p>

<h1>HAD IT.</h1>
<p><strong>Tuesday evening</strong>: I attended a large gathering earlier in the day and am almost positive I caught the virus there. I’m lucky. I immediately started to feel a little tired and checked my temperature. I have not left my home since. I self-quarantined the moment I felt something.</p>
<p><strong>Wednesday</strong>: I woke up feeling a bit feverish with no other symptoms. Nothing in my sinus, no sore throat, and no respiratory challenges. Being someone that rarely ever gets sick, I proactively chose to call my doctor right away. He directed me to a Cedars Sinai off-site building on Wilshire Blvd. At this point, my fever was 24 hours in but physically, I began feeling better each hour.</p>
<p><strong>Thursday</strong>: I drove to Cedars and got tested. I was told to only take TYLENOL to monitor my temperature and that Advil/Ibuprofen is <strong>NOT</strong> the best option if feeling a fever. </p>

<h1>BEAT IT.</h1>
<p><strong>Friday</strong>: I woke up feeling 100% like myself again. 3rd day in self-quarantine, awaiting my test results.</p>
<p><strong>Saturday</strong>: I woke up feeling even better but still stayed home and continued my self-quarantine.</p>
<p><strong>Saturday night</strong>: I got a call from Cedars telling me that I had tested positive for the virus. Honestly since I was feeling fine I just started to laugh...The doctor said to just chill for a couple more days and that my case was mild. He advised me to refrain from any contact with the elderly because they are at high-risk and to sit tight until my primary doctor says otherwise.</p>
<p>I then received a message from my Doctor:</p>
<blockquote>“I have been closely following your condition. I am glad to hear that your symptoms have improved. I agree that you should continue to self quarantine for at least 3 days after symptoms have resolved. You will be fine.”</blockquote>

<h1>DON'T PANIC.</h1>
<p><strong>I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH.</strong></p>
<p>After going through the process of contracting and surviving the virus, I’ve learned many important lessons that must be shared.</p>
<p>If you have it, and are in good health + self-quarantine, you are highly likely to beat it no questions asked. More importantly, whether you think you have it or you don’t, please STAY HOME. The information known regarding the nature of the virus is so minimal at this point and if you can, I wouldn’t risk it.</p>
<p>Symptomatic vs. asymptomatic cases: COVID-19 is a respiratory virus that is highly contagious and will enter the immune systems of everyone in one way or another. Regardless of symptoms, please PRETEND LIKE YOU HAVE IT. Even if you aren’t showing any symptoms or maybe you think you do but you’re not sure, by pretending you do and removing yourself from the rest of the community can do WONDERS in stopping the rate in which the virus spread and the LOWER the chances of it reentering your system.</p>
<p>The numbers don’t tell the big picture yet. With so many things still unknown, please don’t use the low numbers being reported on TV sway you into taking the situation lightly. My doctor told me that there are thousands of people that have been testing positive for the virus and that although the majority of those cases are mild and most people feel fine after a day or two, they are still contagious and those numbers matter when it comes to reasons why it is <strong>MOST IMPORTANT TO SELF-QUARANTINE and STAY AWAY FROM THE ELDERLY and ANYONE WITH A COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM right now.</strong></p>

This house is one of the most gorgeous houses I have ever stayed in. Sleeps 16 (we are 14) and very affordable for large parties. Large infinity pool, 3 Jacuzzi￼s, 3 floors, full time chef and waiter! It’s incredible! </p>

<p><em><strong><a href="https://www.casabatllo.es/en/">Casa Batlló</a> </strong>is one of <a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antoni_Gaud%C3%AD">Antoni Gaudí’s</a> landmarks in Barcelona. Due to Gaudí’s unique architectural designs, you can spot his work the second you see it. It almost looks like his structures exteriors are made of dinosaur bone!</em></p>
<p><em>The picture above was us driving by Casa Batlló and this guy actually popped up at the car window and scared Ariel, it was </em>hilarious😂<em>￼</em></p>

Park Güell - Barcellona - UNESCO World Heritage Site

<p><em>If you are into Gaudí’s architecture, I recommend spending some time in <strong>Park Güell</strong>. Maybe after a nice lunch, spend time waking around and seeing all the flower gardens and amazing structures. Nice way to burn the calories￼!</em></p>

<h1><em>La Boqueria Market</em></h1>
<p><em>One of the cities most toured landmarks, La Boqueria Market has the most amazing stands with incredible food, drinks, and spices! I have traveled to so many places and been to many open markets but this one was by far the best. All the products looked so perfect it seemed fake. I highly recommend going on an empty stomach and tasting everything with your group. </em></p>

<h1><em>Costa Brava</em></h1>
<p><em>When traveling to Barcelona, heading to Costa Brava is a MUST. most people don’t know about this Gem. We rented a car and drove up the coast for about an hour and hit <strong><a href="https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tossa_de_Mar">Tossa De Mar </a></strong>first. Park your car in one of the lots and definitely head the to the Castel on the cliff. Gorgeous piece of history to see. Tossa Del Mar is filled with many little shops and restaurants to visit. You will see a massive public beach but I would save the beach activity for the next adventure at one of Costa Bravas beautiful Calas. </em></p>
<p><em>Cala means small cove or bay. They have many of these private Calas up and down the coast. I would have never known about exploring Calas if it wasn’t for Pini, the owner of <a href="http://www.canpini.com">Can Pini</a>, a great little restaurant in Tossa Del Mar. The owner himself came to our table, brought out a guide of Costa Brava and told us about this specific Cala to go to. He showed us an image and right away we knew we were heading there next. He opened up maps in my iphone and set a drop pin to the exact location of this Cala since there’s no specific address. We followed the pin and it took us to this secret Cala below! It was a trip getting there I must say...</em>😬</p>

<p><em>We parked our car on the top of the hill where the pin was dropped and saw a long staircase from the top of the mountain to the private oasis. Took about 15 minutes but was well worth it! When it was time to go, the walk back up the hill was quite the work out! ￼definitely one of our highlights from the trip. </em></p>

<p><em>Barcelona has so many restaurant options so you must do some research beforehand. Here are some restaurants we went to. If you tap the link on the photo you will get the website. If you want to save it to your Mag Bag you can for future bookings!</em></p>
<p><em>De Greco was insane! Every pasta dish you order they give you another one for free for your guests to “taste” so you technically don’t have to share lol! </em></p>
<p><em>4 people, 4 pasta dish orders and 8 plates. Too much food but so good!</em></p>
<p><em>Below are 2 images of other restaurants, one being <strong>7 Ports</strong>. 7 Ports has been serving customers for over 120 years! Classic spot to have dinner when traveling to Barcelona. Aside from the big name restaurants, roam around the city￼ to find those hidden local spots. You won’t be disappointed wherever you go. </em></p>

<h1><em>La Sagrada Familia</em> </h1>
<p><em>Another one of Antoni Guadí’s masterpieces. Guadi started La Sagrada Familia in 1852 and died in 1926 when only a quarter of the church was built. Due to some interruptions, including the Spanish Civil War, the Church resumed construction in the 50’s. </em></p>
<p><em>Since we had a private tour guide for the day all around Barcelona, we didn’t need to pay for tickets (included in guide price) nor waited in the line to enter. This church is incredible and definitely a must go when visiting Barcelona. </em></p>

<h1><em>Barri <strong>Gòtic</strong>, The Gothic Quarter in Barcelona</em></h1>
<p><em>Very beautiful place to walk around. Has many shops and places to eat. The great thing about Barcelona is that you can walk anywhere and find something to do, somewhere to shop and something to eat! </em></p>
<p><em>Located not far from here is <a href="https://www.sohohousebarcelona.com/en?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=googlemybusiness">Soho Barcelona</a>. If you have a Soho member ship I recommend popping in for a drink and if you want spend more time you can enjoy the roof top pool!</em></p>

<p>LA BOQUERIA- A MUST: go in morning any day but Sunday. Amazing food of all sorts- fruit, smoothies, empanadas, nuts, chocolates… basically a nicer version of a shook (prices in front way more expensive- explore whole area)</p>
<p>Brunch and Cake- great breakfast place. </p>
<p>Flax and Kale- YOU WOULD DIE FOR THIS- most amazing food and juices (like healthy tho hence the name hahaha)</p>
<p>Wok to Walk- to get while sight seeing or on the go- I have an obsession there. Chain so found everywhere</p>
<p>Cervecerias- known as best tapas- always rely long line tho. </p>
<p>Cal Pep- great tapas</p>
<p>Tickets bar- amazing tapas</p>
<p>Bar Lobo- love it amazing tapas</p>
<p>La Poma= great italian</p>
<p>Sensi- amazing tapas</p>
<p>Rosa Negra- fun place for drinks and nachos/ mexican food</p>
<p>Da Greco- italian kinda heavy but great</p>
<p>**note- great tapas places can be a little difficult vegetarian style</p>
<p>ALSO- when walking down rambles if u turn into one of the alcoves theres a circle filled with great restaurants its really pretty and outside and relish gelato place there</p>
<p>—happy pills- so cute and fun esp for gifts to bring back for ppl if you need those- 2 locations- candy place where you put candy into pill jars and add cute personalized and funny sticker</p>
<p>porto olympico/barceloneta</p>
<p>-walk down boardwalk- amazing food/ drinks and beach</p>
<p>cdlc- go around 4/5 for sangria on beds by beach</p>

<p>Opium-must go one night crazy club- next to many other clubs (shoko, danzatoria, cdlc…) and casino- dangerous lol</p>
<p>Sutton- farther away but fun</p>

<p>Chupitos- hole in the wall SO fun over 300 shots they all light on fire and have candies (get girl scout shot and if u wanna embarrass someone inappropritely get them the monica lewinsly)- all shots 2 euros</p>
<p>La Ovella Negro- super fun mix of local and international ppl</p>
<p>Pepperdines- big drinks w million straws</p>
<p>Dow Jones- fun goes based on stock market prices</p>
<p><strong>Sights </strong></p>
<p>Sagrada Familia- go in!- buy ticket online to avoid wait</p>
<p>Park Guell- also need ticket</p>
<p>Casa Batllo (on gorg street like their 5th ave)- u can decide if u wanna go in or not- no need if u do sagrada and guell</p>
<p>Ramlas- poppin place to walk around main street and very touristy</p>
<p>Pacia De Gracia- basically their 5th ave its gorg def explore this area (all designer shops- if u plan on buying designer in future do it here so much cheaper and vat tax back)</p>
<p>Yibidabo- if u have time most unreal view of barce</p>
<p>Park Ciutadella- BEAUTIFUL PARK its big walk thru it! by zoo and theres sometimes festivals and such fun atmosphere</p>
<p>arc de triumph- right across from park!</p>
<p>Picasso Museum, MACABA museum</p>
<p>National Palace- beautiful and on weekends you can see MAGICAL FOUNTAIN show</p>
<p>IF THERE IS A FC BARCE GAME go!!!!!</p>

<p><em>Never had a chance to share some of our “Day-After Shoot” shots digitally. Well, here ya go!</em></p>
<p><em>We really had such a great time with <a href="https://www.marvinphoto.com">Marvin Chichportiche</a> and couldn’t be any happier with our photgrapher choice. Marvin has such a fun tactic to making you feel comfortable while shooting. I mean we are no actors here so at first it’s a little nerve racking. So what Marvin does, is he strapped a small speaker to my belt and blasted some music forcing you to feel the good vibe and dance around while he takes the money shots. Awesome way to make the moment that much more enjoyable. We laughed, we danced, it was just a great time. </em></p>
