Glamis Sand Dunes - Part 2

I guess we’ve decided that Glamis will be an annual ritual for Thanksgiving weekend. We all have Thanksgiving with our families and Friday morning it’s off to the dunes!

2 Campers, 2 trucks and 4 Can-am Mavericks. We love the big boy toys!

When arriving to Glamis, first objective is to pick our spot. Out of thousands of people setting up shop, it’s not so easy to find your home for the weekend but we always seem to set camp in the best location. Once camp is set, it’s ride till you die, BBQ until there’s no more fire and meat and relax on a good ol’ American bud light.

Can-ams can definitely take a beating in the dunes but this should not have happened…on the whoops, the front hit the base and completely broke the arm of the car that holds the wheel…stuck in the dunes is not ideal…

Towing out of the sand is a nightmare but we made the best of it. All the “hiccups” just adds more fun to trip :)
