You may ask: What is a plant-based diet?

I understand that we may have some meat lovers in our community. To be honest, I am not a meat lover myself, but I do enjoy meat on certain occasions. However, if we want to protect our planet, we have to shift our food diet to save our planet.

I watched a YouTube video of Kim Kardashian’s tacos recipe. YES, you read that right, plant-based tacos. The brand that is featured in her video is called Beyond Meat, and their mission is as follow:

“We believe there is a better way to feed our future and that the positive choices we all make, no matter how small, can have a great impact on our personal health and the health of our planet. By shifting from animal to plant-based meat, we can positively impact four growing global issues: human health, climate change, constraints on natural resources, and animal welfare.” (Meat, n.d.)
