<p>My dear friend and talented artist Sonsoles Masia in her studio in Delft. </p>

<p>On March 30th I drove past Sonso’s atelier and saw her popping red van “Bombera” sunbathing in the parking lot. Took a quick turn of the highway and here I was spontaneously standing in my favorite atelier. Sonso was standing there Spanish as she was bare feet in a tanktop and some flowy pants. “Aaahh Corazón, welcome!”</p>
<p>Both Sonso and I have been keeping busy with everything except creating so you can say we were both a little drained. Coming together gave us the motivation, inspiration and love again for what talents had been gifted to us. I witnessed Sonso connect to her ancestors and create a outstanding canvas. </p>

<h1>Dolf the werewolf</h1>
<p>My boyfriend and I found our little kitten in May. Back than she was around 6 weeks old, super skinny, sick and missing one eye. We don’t know what happened to her but we knew we had to take her home. We transported her back to our home in Passavant-la-Rochère. During the ride she bit me in the finger so hard it started to bleed haha! That’s why she’s named the little werewolf. Now a couple months later she’s healthy, happy and can do a hack of a lot with her 1 eye. </p>

<p>After a long long time of not spending time with my beloved friends my creative partner <a href="magma://users/PdmhjDHUqnT5gBss8tAecpsfDAH2">@parkerschmidt </a> came to visit &amp; work with me in Amsterdam. More than enough reasons to finally introduce this “guy I have been stalking about for ages” to my friends. On a side note... this was 2 days before we found out that The Netherlands is going back under COVID-19 rules. So please excuse us for being so close together. Everyone is healthy &lt;3</p>
<p>We spend all Saturday in the city working at the DEUS Cafe followed by drinks in Haarlem. That part went as followed: 🍾+🥂+🍷+🤸🏼‍♀️+🎺+🚨+🍕=🌜</p>

Throughout my phone using journey I figured that there are 2 types of people... people who NEVER change their home screen. Like my sister. Staying through to that girlfriends coffee date. And than there are people like me who keep switching from their favorite Porsche to their cat back to their boyfriend. Both is equally fine. </p>

<p>“Quickly Photo Mags” are a quick bite for photography lovers. The recipe for this week was the little post lockdown hike we did close to the French - Swiss Alps. </p>
<p>We have been stuck in France for the last 2 months, finally we are able to really enjoy this blessing of the curse. Flip through our little adventure ft the family car Porsche Boxster</p>

<h2>The blue lake</h2>

<p>In the small town of Anjeux is a place that doesn’t look like France at all. It sparked our curiosity right away and makes you feel like you entering some tourist hot spot in Bali. However there is no one around and it’s surrounded by mid European forest. Via a 500 meter hike path you will reach the top of the little hill. It’s a magical feeling to look down on this wonder. </p>
<p>You can reach this spot from summer to winter and parking is easy. Next to the lake you are able to do longer hikes as well. Unfortunately it’s prohibited to swim with its 11 degree water year round. It can be very dangerous since the source is about 35m deep. </p>

During the lockdown I rediscovered the towns serounding our neighborhood (safely) One of them was this lake. Highly recommends when you visit this part of France. — @undefined's mag on Magma

<p>Professional Roxy Surfer and global LaPoint Camps Ambassador Emilie Uttrup speaks on behalf of her perspective on today's evolving surf community and female representation among the sport. </p>
<p>“When I’m in the water I forget everything else”</p>
<p>Emilie has become a staple icon among empowering female surfers in Portugal to discover what makes their heart sing by sharing her ebbs and flows from her life-long relationship with surfing.</p>

<p>In September @ParkerSchmidt and I made the trip to Lisbon for an exciting project featuring surf camp Lapoint and Classic garage Sportclasse. Combining love for classic cars and surfing made us come back to our own roots of skateboarding. Shooting this project was a absolute adventure.</p>

<p>Emilie is not only a great shot boarder, she also kills it on the longboard. Fast and purple she flows on the lower wave days. </p>

<p>Haraves Of London is one of my longtime clients where I’m taking a lot of passion into. I direct the shoot what means I pick my models carefully and make sure the pieces show there full potential.</p>
<p>This winter I shot their lineup again and I’m stoked to bring some example shots with a model + a couple tips! </p>

<p>“Create movement in your photos” I valued that advise tremendously when I started photographing product + people. Unless it’s the style you are trying to go for it can be tricky and unnatural to just straight on shoot the necklace. </p>

<p>As well as movement, playing with light can help you out a lot. Make sure you still see a part of the subject you are shooting with the jewelry to keep the story alive. </p>

<p>Appreciating the light hitting one of my favorite vintage pieces I purchased in L.A.</p>
<p>In times where I don’t have to “force creativity” I’m so excited for my brain to pick up on ideas that were so close to me that I didn’t notice before. I love classic cars, 60s fashion and everything that came with that lifestyle. </p>

<h1>The only camera bag you will ever need </h1>

<p>I’m aware that this bag is originally ment as a camera bag insert. It comes with the hookup system, and pads all around. Even though... I have been fully embracing it as a backpack. I love wearing it. It’s comfortable, compact and it just looks so stylish. It holds everything from my camera gear to my laptop and accessories. </p>

<h1><strong>Personal</strong> item</h1>
<p>I always take this bag as my personal item on board. Right now it’s holding: laptop, camera, lenses, 2 hard drives, chargers, portable charger, batteries, sd cards, accessories, 5 Cliffbars, dates and trail mix. It’s pretty impressive </p>

<h1><strong>Skateboarding</strong> down with a view</h1>
<p>The Culver City stairs with the dreamy sunset was always a bucket list location to skate. Loaded Longboards (LA based) filmed a lot of the videos that told me how to skate right on this hill.</p>
<p> Finally 5 years later Amelie, Corey and I drove up this iconic spot..</p>

<p>Downhill skateboarding is a very niche sport that’s done mostly by adrenaline junkies. With the gift of gravity we skate down roads and pathways. We have a lot more control than you might think. We stop by loosing traction of our wheels.</p>

<p>Wearing knee and hand protection to make it even safer. I will never go down a hill without a helmet. We can not stress enough how important that is.</p>
<p>The feeling of skateboarding down fast is the closest you will ever come to flying. Give it a try!</p>

<p>Just a friendly reminder from Amelie that being a girl in skateboarding doesn’t make you special. We can work just as hard on our skills and we don’t like posers either. </p>

<h1>The homecoming of the 935</h1>
<h2><em>Sportclasse Lisbon, Portugal </em></h2>
<p>The 935 was introduced in 1976 as the factory racing version of the 911 Turbo. As Porsche hesitated to sell their 935 evolution models, all over Europe some racing teams came up with their own ideas to try and develop their 935. Among them there was Jean-Marie and Jacques Alméras, two French brothers who had established their workshop in Saint-Jean-de-Védas, near Montpellier.</p>
<p>With this car Jean-Marie Alméras won 1978 French Mountain Championship, from 1978 to 1980 won the European Championship and raced in many other events in Europe, like Giro d’Italia in Italy. The 935 rest nowadays in the expert hands ofSportclassein Lisbon, Portugal</p>

<h2>A <strong>noble</strong> home</h2>
<p>Passavant-la-Rochère is workers town in  France about 80km from the Swiss border. About 5 years ago my boyfriends dad decided to move there to “live the dream” like he always wanted. The beautiful 275 year old castle comes with some cute barns and workers houses on its terrain. </p>
<p>When I look out of the window I can see a little workers house with a balcony. That is our 100 year old future home. It looks like it’s about to fall apart but that might be the beauty of it. Sometimes we go inside just to check the conditions of the house and plan out where we are gonna put what. The previous owner of the little house left quite a few items. It’s like entering a time machine. </p>

<p>I felt like I opened the door to a little boys dream. Even though as a full grown women I enjoyed it just as much. </p>
