<h1>Welcome to Dubai ! </h1>

Dubai is the hottest place right now, all influencers are going there to have a good time, create content in their Instagram profiles and sometimes they even move in.
 With dylan my fiance we went there for work and for the holidays we met a lot of workers, we saw Dubai in two different ways.

Personally, I didn't expect that at all when I came to Dubai. I thought it was a small town where you could walk around, get from one place to another without having to walk for hours or take cabs every times.
 A tip renting a car !
Dubai is a gigantic city, there are highways everywhere, roads, buildings, constructions ...
 It almost seems that the city was created around roads and highways.
 So we had to take taxis every day to go from one place to another because we don't have a license lol
To go from one place to another it takes about 25 minutes by car, good point taxis are not very expensive 😊

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone in dubai is rich and not everyone lives in luxury.
 There are a lot of workers who earn really very low wages and who live together in small apartments.
 We call them labour camps ...
 In these places several people live in communities in very small area they are between 4 and 7 people in a room.

There are also several families who live in the same "apartment" if you can call it apartments ...
 They share the showers, the toilets, and the kitchen, no privacy is possible.

The people who live there are the workers of dubai, those without whom dubai would never have been built so quickly, those who sometimes work 20 hours in a row and 7 days a week those who receive a more than deplorable salary, and especially those who do not really have the right to speak and are deprived of all freedoms.

These people come from all over the world (India, Nepal, Cameroon, Syria, Sudan ....)
 so they can work and send money to their families, which most of them haven't seen in over a year.
 So yes maybe he earns a little more than in their country but is it really worth it ? 
For most of these people, the companies that employ them take their passports away once they start working.

Dylan and I had the chance to speak with some of them (cooks, taxi drivers, people who work in building construction ..)
 I really felt pain, real injustice and enormous inequalities.
 How in one place there can be such a big difference in lifestyle.
We met a worker who explained to us that to eat he had to travel 1:30 to 2 hours to be able to buy a sandwich.
 So why so far?
 Quite simply because the food is a little cheaper down there.

From our hotel we plane saw her on a construction site, in the evening and at night there were buses that came to pick up workers for them.
 bring closer to their homes.
 To get on the bus he had to line up 1 by 1 and wait for the person at the end of the site to call out their names.
 Once they called out their names they were running at full speed to get on the bus.
 These images were truly shocking.

I'm not saying i didn't like Dubai, but i just think there is another reality than what you see on tv or social media. And I think it's important to talk about these subject.
I am not writing this mag to show that dubai is not a beautiful city or to discourage you from going on vacation.
Dubai is a beautiful place with so much amazing place to visit, wonderful beaches, lots of activities, excellent restaurant ... 
I will write another mag to share with you my favorite places in Dubai.

For several years we have faced police checks that turned into drama.
Whether in the United States, France or Montreal, the police no longer inspire confidence in the population.
Racism, violence, brutality, excess of power, loss of control ... so many words that should not be associated with the police.

We live in a time when police brutality has been trivialized.

So yes, the hotel is a little expensive compared to other hotels in the area but it's worth it !

You can more reasonably choose to stay at another hotel in the area and spend the day at the Azulik Hotel with access to the private beach for 400 pesos per person.
You can also come and have a drink at the bar in the evening with a very festive atmosphere.

The negative point :

Friends, there is no
Air conditioning in the rooms !!!
The rooms are very old school fan and mosquito net! Very difficult to live with when in Tulum the heat exceeds 28 degrees.

Shrimps fritters recipe :
<li>Mix : </li>
• 250g of flour
• 1baking powder
• 1 egg
Stir
Gradually add Perrier until you have a pancake texture dough

Dip your shrimp in the preparation and put them in a frying pan in hot oil.

Taste it !
To enjoy it even more, mix mayonnaise and harissa and dip your shrimp fritters in it ❤️

KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar

The concept of this bar was developed following the now acquired success of the chain of restaurants Sugarfish by Nozawa , which in their menus included these long rolls of warm and very crisp seaweed with rice and fish inside.
People liked these rolls so much that a restaurant dedicated to them opened its doors.

The restaurant is oval in shape and the kitchen is inside so you can watch the chefs do your hands rolls. You take a menu from the stack while you are queuing up and tick what you want with the crayons provided.

Once your turn arrives you sit on high stools, you give your menu to the chef who takes care of you and you taste!
The chef gives to you your hands rolls part one, as soon as you finish the first he starts to prepare the second and so on. This is what makes the hand roll so crispy, the car if the seaweed stays in contact with the rice for too long, the seaweed will become elastic.

Small + ❤️ : if you eat kosher, or you have any seafood allergy, specify at the top of the menu "allergy to seafood" the chef will change his gloves, as well as his knife.

Ingredients:
For the pie dough:
300 grams of flour
150 grams of butter
2 eggs
150 grams of sugar

For the salted butter caramel
400 grams of sugar
400 ml heavy liquid cream
80 grams of semi-salted butter or normal butter (+ add salt if using normal butter)

For chocolate:
300 grams of milk or dark chocolate
150 ml liquid cream

<h1>Recipe </h1>

• We start with the pie by incorporating the butter with the fingertips into the flour to obtain a shortbread dough 
• We mix the eggs and the sugar
• Incorporate the mixture into the shortbread dough, mix well to obtain a homogeneous and creamy dough.
• We prepare our pie pan, place a baking paper on it and place the dough which we have to spread out well with a rolling pin on the pan.
• We put on the pie dough a second baking paper and we put over rice or chickpeas so that the dough does not swell
•We put the pie in the oven at 180 degrees for 10 min
• Remove the chickpeas or rice and the baking paper and return to the oven 15-20 min until the pie is nicely golden
• We reserve the pie aside

• go for the caramel: place the sugar evenly distributed in a saucepan over medium heat. we will not touch until the brown color of 60 to 70% of the sugar.
• Next to it we heat the cream
• Mix the sugar with a whisk until you get a nice caramel
• We gradually incorporate the cream heated with sugar, whisk without stopping.
• We incorporate the butter and the salt into the caramel
• Leave to heat for another 5 min while continuing to whisk 
• Pour the caramel on the bottom of the pie and put in the fridge for 2h-2h30

• After 2h once the pie has cooled, heat the cream for the chocolate mixture and melt the chocolate ( u can use every chocolate ), be careful not to burn or bake the chocolate.
• Mix the chocolate and the hot cream with a whisk then pour the preparation over the pie over the caramel
• Let the pie rest for another 2 hours in the fridge

<h1>How to organise a perfect wedding ! </h1>

Like I said in my last mag, Im gonna get maried very soon and I’m so excited !!!
A perfect wedding is a organized wedding. 
My wedding will be in Israel. Living in paris makes everything complicated, scares me that I won’t have enough time organizing everything. So I chose to hire a wedding planner, to make it a lot easier and a lot less stress full. 
Perfect steps to a perfect wedding! 
• First thing first, trust and feeling. You need to have that comfortable feeling with your wedding planner. Why ? You Can’t be scared to ask question and say no, it’s your day! Trust, you have to know that he or she is 120% here for you and just you, his life turned around you! Then we could get to the basic, work hard and good contactes. Knows what he or she is talking about, remember it’s your day your the juge, you don’t feel it PASSE !!! I chose to trust Jonathan, director and founder of Alliance Event.

• Second : The DATE!!!! 
I chose summer vibe, early June. Not to cold but not to hot, perfect weather to have that nice tan while siping that rose during the cocktail. To make it even better I chose to get married on a cliff on top of the turquoise ocean. I’m dying just thinking about it!!!!

<h1>Thirdly : The place</h1>
Choosing the place where you get married is like choosing your wedding dresse. The second you walk in if you have that gosse bumps feeling that curls up your back, then you just found your place. Like I said “I chose to get married on the cliff of a beach on a early June for a perfect weather. It was always dream to get married on the beach, barefoot not a lot of people, and then just run off with my husband. But I understood that it wasn’t that easy and that shows where obligated lol. At least I got the beach I could live with wearing shoes at my wedding lol. 
I ask to my wedding planner if it was expensive to build a wedding hall on the beach but he said that it’s more expensive than a regular wedding hall. So he send me to visite a outdoor wedding hall in Cesare : Al Hayam
This wedding hall was the first place that I’m visited and he was a good one.

<h1>Fourth : The dress</h1>
I think the bride’s dress in is the most important thing than everything.For me I had absolutely no idea about what I wanted. I didn't see myself in a wedding dress at all.But i was so excited to get married that it was the thing I looked for right after the wedding hall.
I had already tried several styles of dresses in Los Angeles with my sister in law Clara, it was a disaster I did not like anything.

The first dress that i’m tried in Los Angeles 
I wanted a princess dress but by trying the different dress i knew immediately that it was not for me. I’m 5 feet so with princess dress I looked like a meringue. But it was a very good memories we laughed a lot.

Finally i went to Berta, with my other sister in law Johanna.
Berta is an amazing Israeli wedding dress designer and i found my dress there. 
The dress was light and elegant. I loved it.

<li>To choose your dress you really need to feel comfortable in it. feel yourself. You also need to be with special person, someone confident and stylish who can advise you. Honestly during these fittings my mother missed me, she was in France so she couldn’t come. </li>

<h1>5th : The music</h1>
The music it’s also verry important in a wedding. Event if you have lot of families, friend, good vibes, if you have bad music you don’t have a good ambiance. I choose to take a DJ. In my opinion is more modern than an orchestra. I wanted a discotheque ambiance. I choose DJ itay galo when I meet him I had a very good vibes with him and i think he is perfect for de style of wedding that I want !!

<h1>6th : The decoration </h1>
In my past i worked with 2 wedding planner in Paris. I took care of all the decoration of the events, so i know exactly what iwant. 
I love a boho chic décoration very cosy all in white and beige. 
My advice: don't spend too much money on decoration, nobody is watching.

Hey, my name is Maya Bitton, I’m from paris and very soon I’m gonna get married with my love dylan. Dylan was born in Paris and at 3 month he moved with his parents to LA. Than at 13 years old he come to Israel, where we meet us.

I don’t really speak, write and read English but I have to learn to integrate me to his family. Since always I wanted to write my personal diary but I wanted to do that with photo like a magazine and now now that i have found this app i will be able to use it to make it my little personal diary. I’m so exited !!! 
I have 2 brother and 2 sisters, my sisters are all my life, lielle has 11 years old and the second one elly has 8 years old. 
My mother work a lot so I take care of them most of the time. We laugh a lot and I love to annoy them and take them on video, same with my mom.
