LIST OF FAV LONG BEACH COFFEE SHOPS
I decided to compile a list of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach. When you are first exploring a new city it can be daunting to find the right place to enjoy your favorite cup of joe.
And as crazy as it sounds each coffee shop is a different mood and satisfies a different experience. For example, are you studying? Are you hanging out with a friend? Are you hungry and also want some good food? Looking for breakfast? Are they open late in the afternoon?
I have a made a list of my favorite places!
COFFEE PARLOR
Hands down favorite place for breakfast and their coffee is bomb. There is a high chance you will find me here during the weekend!
The real winner and the number one reason I keep coming back to Copa (aka coffee parlor), is the original breakfast burrito. It is so good, between the bacon and the tater tots and the fried soft egg, it is all a killer combo. Not too greasy, but definitely satisfies that craving! It is even boyfriend approved.
They also have pretty good coffee! Never watered down and they make their vanilla syrup from scratch! It’s so good. No joke probably one of my favorite coffees in LB!
I also love the atmosphere, they have tables outside, a lot of times with umbrellas. It’s one of my favorite places to go during the weekend, you get to enjoy a chill morning crowd. Lots of friends, couples, and parents come hang out here. There are always furry little dog/friends running around and kids. And we’ve noticed that the fire department and police department love to come hang out here too and get their morning burrito fix!
COFFEE DRUNK
As you probably already noticed from the first photo, one of my favorite places for an iced cup of coffee is Coffee Drunk!
You have to try their instigator! It’s a shaken brown sugar coffees latte served over ice. With some oat milk, it is perfect. It is sweet enough yet their coffee stands out. And trust me their coffee is good.
Inside it is always pretty chill and quiet. The perfect place to study. They have tables outside all around the restaurant that is also good if you want to chat with a friend! Tables are not big, good for two people catching up!
They also have amazing pastries 🤤 and they recently just opened a kitchen and they are offering food! I have yet to try their breakfast but I am dying to!
Closes pretty early tho, so make sure it’s part of your morning!
COMMODITY
Great place for an iced vanilla latte and a breakfast burrito! It is up there with one of my favorite breakfast in LB!
Honestly they have this rose tea latte that is to die for, it is unique and tastes so good! I would return just for that!
They also have a great selection of organic orange wines and unique IPAS you can purchase!
They have it all food, coffee, alcohol, and they even sell pants. I mean, what more can you ask for? My heart is happy!
Due to covid it seems like they have to take some of the tables away so people wouldn’t sit inside, not a lot of places to sit and eat/drink. That is the only downside so it’s the perfect place to pick it to go and eat at home for a lazy Sunday. Hopefully once things start opening up again they will have more seating inside!
