<h1><strong>Rainy happy</strong> day in L.A.</h1>
<p>Besides the fact that Mark’s face and his natural grace inspire me a lot to take photos, this rainy mood in Venice inspired me even more. </p>
<p>We went for a walk in the neighborhood, and found some random places as the moon lighted up the night. </p>

<p>Entre influence des années 60, musique des années 80 et lifestyle des jours actuels, cette série m’a plongée dans une intemporalité douce et assez rassurante. </p>
<p></p>
<p>J’ai apprécié ce moment, et on a pris notre temps .</p>

<p>When you ask skateboarders what they love most about their sport, they would told you tens of different things, but what they answer every time is Freedom.</p>
<p>On Wednesday March 12th, we were about to live one of our last piece of freedom, but of course we didn’t know about that !</p>
<p>We would just share this road together, feel free together, and be amazed by this view tho. </p>
<p>I love you, L.A. 🖤</p>

<p>In my mind, skateboarding means a lot cuz it helped me making all those decisions. I’m talking about work decisions, getting new skills, relationships, friendships, fears, future, trips, travels. It’s just that sometimes, even if you’re afraid, you just need to go and keep pushing. And it always helps when you have a friend to believe in you. </p>
<p>Hesitation is natural, but “the best days of our life are never wasted”.</p>

<h1><strong>Thank</strong> <strong>you skateboarding</strong>.</h1>
<p>Iván, Lillian, Johanna, Feiyane, Andrés, Amélie.</p>
<p>Spain, France, Switzerland,</p>
<p>6 friends, 3 countries.</p>
<p>We all are downhill skateboarders and we met 3 or 4 years ago in some skate events.</p>
<p>I remember this night from last summer, cold and wet night of august. We were in our paradise somewhere in Slovenia. Each year, the KNK longboard Camp takes place there and I guess it’s one of our favorite part of the year. It was the night before the race. But the six of us wouldn’t race this one, so we would just hang out together for the whole night around this fireplace. </p>
<p>We had some red wine, playing some music, having some talks. This moment lasted til the early morning. I just remember that Lillian played this techno remix of Bella Ciao and we would all dance. I also remember I said «&nbsp;Guys, let’s go to Berlin !&nbsp;».</p>
<p>5 months later, January 23rd-27th, Berlin. </p>

<h1>The storm was named <strong>Amélie</strong> </h1>

<p>I just came back home from one month abroad. The same day, a storm named Amélie hit the French west coast, in Biarritz. </p>
<p>Funny coincidence.</p>
<p>I often use words to express myself, but being back home was a mix of so many different feelings. Those pictures express way much better the storm that was happening in my head than any world could have done. </p>
<p>Storm is a state of mind. </p>

<h1>Donde sientas paz , pero a la vez se te acelere el corazón </h1>

<p>Me acuerdo de ese domingo y siempre me quedarán esas fotos. Recuerdos. Por eso Vivo, y esos son de las que me encantan. </p>
<p>Domingo 20 de octubre. Dormimos a la skate house, después de una noche de chill con los chicos. Nos fuimos a desayunar en ese lugar que me gusta mucho, el Farmers’ Market de Mar Vista. Porque si nos queda una vida es para aprovecharla y vivirla con gente real, lo aprovechamos. </p>
<p>Nos fuimos a patinar, de downhill y de dancing, para que cada uno pueda sentirse orgulloso de su cosa sabes. Y así hemos pasado el día, tranquilo, juntos, que no fue para tanto. </p>

<p>Baja la pendiente y todo se convierte en color. Así me siento yo, una zancadilla y me siento viva.</p>
<p> Hubieras visto mi cara de tonta, tan feliz con gente que puedo contar. </p>

<p></p>
<p>Ahora mi corazón solloza poco, porque ojalá ese día podía ser mi rutina. </p>
<p>Pero estoy tristemente feliz con mi pena, feliz de vivir esos momentos que te quedan para siempre. </p>

<p>«Tu devrais pas poster ce genre de photo, ça ne te ressemble pas» - Avant j’étais encore ancrée dans toute la culpabilité que ce message représente et je me sentais si mal avec moi-même et dans une incompréhension certaine face à ce message.</p>
<p> Qu’est-ce que ça veut dire ? Et bien, c’est un mélange de croyances ancrées sur lesquelles le corps féminin ne doit pas être dévoilé au risque d’être «vulgaire» ou «attrayant pour les personnes malveillantes» ou «démonstratif de quelque chose qui doit rester intime».</p>
<p> Cette phrase, c’est un mélange de bienveillance mal placée exprimé par rapport à ses propres relations avec le corps dévoilé et de culpabilisation cachée qui vient te faire comprendre que tu es quand même bien mignonne mais que faut quand même faire attention à l’image que tu donnes. </p>

<p>«Mais je dis ça après c’est mon avis et c’est seulement parce que je t’adore» : Et bien une fois pour toute, non. Personne à part moi-même décide et donne un avis sur mon choix de dévoiler ou non mon corps dans des photos prises par des talents que j’aime énormément. Je suis fière de ce corps que j’ai du mal à accepter encore et c’est dans l’autre sens qu’il faut réfléchir : Pourquoi le corps féminin, quand il est dévoilé, déchaîne les peurs et des jugements de valeurs ? </p>
<p>Merci à <a href="magma://users/76dfr9vtVQYT1KtlAvBzPb3dskH3">@Rosanne </a> de me donner l’opportunité de me réconcilier avec moi même. </p>

<h1>Frenchy <strong>in</strong> L.A.</h1>
<p>J’me suis envolée pour les states le 8 octobre 2019. Première fois aux US, premier voyage aussi loin de chez moi sans membre de ma famille. BOUM !</p>
<p>J’ai grandi à Biarritz, ou surf, skate et snowboard sont comme une religion (avec le pâté, le fromage et la bière bien sûr). J’me suis toujours sentie bien à la maison, mais j’ai toujours voulu voir d’où ça venait. </p>
<p>La Californie, ça a toujours été un peu un mythe ici tu vois, un espèce de truc inatteignable, un rêve un peu inavouable. Je pensais pas y aller si tôt, puis j’ai trouvé un vol à 350€ A/R et je suis partie.</p>

<p>J’ai appelé Rosanne, d’une manière super random, vers 22:30. «&nbsp;Would you like to go to L.A. with me ? Oct. 8th - Oct. 24th. I can book the tickets tonight&nbsp;». Ça a commencé comme ça, tout simplement. </p>
<p>Je pensais ressentir un truc énorme en arrivant, genre «&nbsp;putain j’atterris à LAX bro&nbsp;», je m’attentais à être émerveillée de tout, a découvrir plein de choses. </p>
<p>Rien à voir, j’ai pas du tout eu cette impression parce que j’ai eu ce doux sentiment qui m’a enveloppée, ce sentiment d’être chez soi, d’être dans un habitat qui te correspond. «&nbsp;I belong here.&nbsp;»</p>

<p>Pour être tout à fait honnête avec toi, j’ai jamais autant souri et sentie bien dans un environnement dans le sens où j’ai réellement eu l’impression que tout matchait à 100%. Sentiments décuplés, cœur à mille à l’heure, mais un sentiment de paix indéniable.</p>

<p>C’est très naïf ce que je t’écris, très culcul mais tellement vrai à la fois. C’est con à dire mais j’ai eu l’impression de vivre cette vie rêvée tant de fois, si lointaine et impossible. Mais franchement si je peux te dire quelque chose, vivre un rêve est la meilleure sensation au monde. </p>

<h1>Lucie &amp; Javan</h1>
<p>Je monte à cheval depuis que j’ai 4 ans, 20 ans ça commence à faire un bon bout de temps. C’est à ce moment là que j’ai rencontré Lucie, petite fille timide et introvertie. </p>
<p>
  <li>On a grandi ensemble, une partie au conservatoire national de musique, elle à l’alto, moi au violon. Mais quand on était ni au conservatoire, ni à l’école, on était aux écuries. L’équitation fut pour nous la meilleure des écoles ; humilité, patience, rigueur, écoute, self-control. </li>
</p>
<p>À l’âge de 6 ans, Lucie a eu son cheval, Javan. Je l’ai vue s’ouvrir, grandir, se révéler en tant que femme, prendre confiance en elle. C’est avec ces deux inséparables que j’ai commencé à prendre des photos, essayé de capturer ce lien invisible entre l’Humain et l’Animal.</p>
