<h1>Cut a few shallots in half lengthwise </h1>

<h1>In a dutch oven salt and brown a whole chicken cut up in olive oil then set aside</h1>

<h1>Brown shallots and lemons in the same dutch oven on medium heat </h1>

<p>Mix everything (dates, lemon slices, Tyme, and about a cup of water) in the dutch oven and sprinkle the the chicken with the chili powder. </p>
<p>Cover and put in oven for 25-30 min</p>
<p>Remove cover and cook an additional 25-30 min </p>

<p>Take out of the oven and let sit an additional 10 min before serving. </p>
