Willow Springs International Raceway

<h1>On this particular venture to Willow Springs International Raceway me-n-the boys came to spectate our friends as the hit the track for a 5 hour endurance race. </h1>

<h1><strong>Porsche</strong> owners <strong>club</strong> endurance race </h1>
<p>This was a team race, each team had 3 drivers to switch between for the 5 hour duration. </p>
<p>Both Malcolm and Alex were in this race. Malcolm’s section was during the day when the track was warm and the laps were fast. </p>
<p>Alex had the more careful job of trying to throw down fast laps in the dark with limited visibility </p>
<p>Unfortunately Malcolm got caught up with a very overbearing member of the POC, and got pushed off the track and lost a coolent line, he did not finish the race :(</p>
<p>Alex started her shift in the dark and held her lead. Despite the light downpour her team decided not to switch to rain tires to save time out on the track. Alex’s clever driving brought home a 1st place trophy. </p>
