Let’s Get Started
Metamask is mostly used as a chrome extension, and is excepted by most crypto platforms. Here’s how to get your free wallet started.
1. Start by clicking metamask.io 
2. Click on the upper right hand corner labeled download.
Choose Your Browser
3. Choose the type of extension you want to install it on chrome for your computer, Android or iOS for your phone.
4. You can also add it to Fire Fox, Brave and Edge.
Time To Install
5. Click install.
6. A new browser will open up to the chrome Web store.
7. Click the “Add to Chrome” and accept any drop downs that come from your web browser.
8. You will then be taken to your Metamask page.
Create Your Account
1. Click on the Metamask icon in the upper right corner to open the extension.
2. You will be asked to create a new password. Create a strong password and click create. (Make sure you write it down).
3. Proceed by clicking next, then accept terms of use.
Reveal Your Secret Phase
(AND SAVE IT!!)
4. Click to reveal secret words. You will see a R2 word seed phrase.
(Save this secret phrase and keep it on a safe location!)
When done, click next
Congratulations!!
5. Verify your secret phrase by selecting the previously generated phrase. When done, click confirm.
6. Congratulations! You have successfully created your Metamask account. A new Ethereum wallet address was automatically generated for you!
