The Idea of Uber

In 2008, Travis Kalanick and Garrett Camp where out one night in Paris. It was a cold and snowy winter night. The two men had a brilliant idea that would be born that night.

Ubers Start

In 2009, the two men started their business in San Francisco, California. The purpose of the App the was to let some press a button on their mobile device to get a ride from almost anywhere at anytime. In 2010, the first Uber ride happened. The App was a hit. People loved it. In 2011, Uber went international.

Uber Eats is born

In 2012, in seven select cities in the U.S., people had the option to get an ice cream deliver to them through Uber. Their food deliver service would slowly get larger and better over the years. Four years later in 2016, They would be one of the top third party deliver services. Door dash and GrubHub where there equals.

Uber’s Stock

Currently Uber’s stock is at 50 dollars and 62 cents. It is at an all time low. Uber’s stock is like this due to the current Covid 19 pandemic.
