On our way to Mexico!
We were very aware that we are traveling during a global pandemic and the risks that come along with it. We both felt like we were extremely strained and needed a mini get away in order to recharge our batteries. As a healthcare worker I made sure we were as safe as can be, and sanitized every surface before we touched them. Thank g-d for Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer!
First stop: The Ceviche Bar
Upon check in, we stopped at the ceviche bar behind the pool of The W Hotel. For anyone who keeps kosher, this is a yummy and refreshing alternative for a snack/lunch meal. They have the freshest mahi mahi and tuna ceviche!
Nothing says vacation like a bloody marry and tequila by the pool! The W Hotel has an elaborate menu of drinks and food to order by the pool. The food never seemed to disappoint us!
Tuna Blanca
Tuna Blanca with the style and essence of Cafe des Artistes, but with a Mexican menu and atmosphere, beach type, chic and romantic, that gets in to a fusion with the best products of the region, organic, cultivated by the hands of local producers and fresh seafood provided by the fisherman of the Anclote beach. There is no doubt, an enigmatic restaurant, an obligated visit in Punta Mita.
Cabo Corrientes
Cabo Corrientes is a cape on the Pacific coast of the Mexican state of Jalisco. It marks the southernmost point of the Bahía de Banderas (Bay of Flags), upon which the port and resort city of Puerto Vallarta stands. The municipality in which the cape lies is also called Cabo Corrientes. We took a catamaran from the marina of Punta Mita to Cabo Corrientes to have lunch. This charming little town with only 1000 residents welcomed us with open arms.
To end off the trip on a relaxing note, we had a great couples massage at the hotels spa!
