Namibia
A place of contrast and extremes.
The first things that pops into my head when I think about Namibia are the rust-red dunes and the deep blue sky. The country is wild, the people are friendly, and the roads seem endless. I have seen many photos from Namibia before, but it was nothing like I imagined it to be. The scale of these places are immense.
Traveling in Africa often means facing terrible roads and difficult conditions. We rented a 4x4, equipped with rooftop tents, still had overcome two flat tires and got stuck in the sand. Travel days were long and bumpy, we rarely drove for more than four hours each day, but the incredible views along the way made up for it!
Sunrise heli flight
This morning was one for the books. An experinece I will never forget. We hopped on a helicopter and flew over the oldest and largest dunes in the world. It was impeccable, it is hard to put it in words. I am glad I got to capture this this unforgettable experience with my camera.
